Alcohol, drugs and detox safety
If you are physically dependent on alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids or other substances, stopping suddenly can be dangerous.
Please speak to a GP, pharmacist, NHS service, local drug and alcohol service or another qualified professional before making sudden changes to your substance use.
The Recovery Space does not provide detox plans, medical withdrawal advice or clinical risk assessment.

The Recovery Space may provide free self-help tools, worksheets, PDF resources and recovery prompts.
These tools are for reflection, education and personal recovery planning only. They are not a substitute for professional advice, treatment, therapy, safeguarding support or emergency help.
